Perth, Australia-based Bhagwan Marine has added CMV Athos and DP2 Seamaster to its fleet of offshore support vessels.
Anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) CMV Athos was built by Guangdong Yuexin Ocean Engineering in 2017. It measures 65 m in length by 16 m in breadth with a dwt of 1,878. The vessel has a performance speed of 12 knots and a bollard pull of 86 tonnes. It has a dynamic positioning class of DP2.
DP2 Seamaster was built by Kay Marine in Malaysia in 2013. It is a multipurpose catamaran that can carry out ROV, dive support, survey and light construction duties. It measures 40 m in length with a breadth of 15 m. Unsurprisingly, it has a dynamic positioning class of DP2. The vessel has a main deck crane with 12-tonne lifting capacity and a service crane with a 6.2-tonne lifting capacity.
Both vessels have charters with Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia, Jadestone Energy and other majors on various projects.
Bhagwan Marine’s managing director Loui Kannikoski said the vessels were acquired as a result of feedback from clients and that the company aims to continue its expansion programme.
