Subsea 7 announces North Sea DSVi agreement extension

Subsea 7 announces North Sea DSVi agreement extension

Subsea 7 has been awarded a three-year extension to an existing North Sea diving support vessel initative (DSVi) framework agreement with seven clients.

Financial terms for the extension were not disclosed but Subsea 7 described it as “sizeable”, defining this as being between US$50M-US$150M.

The clients involved are Chevron North Sea, Dana Petroleum (E&P), Hess Denmark, Nexen Petroleum, Repsol Sinopec Energy, Shell UK and TAQA Bratani.

Initially awarded in 2009, the original framework was most recently extended in 2016. The agreement sees Subsea 7 provide year-round diving support vessel services, associated project management and engineering services for as many as 50 North Sea offshore facilities. The work scope includes diver and ROV inspection, repair and maintenance, subsea construction and decommissioning services and long-term project support. The work is managed from Subsea 7’s Aberdeen office.
